Next week G8 summit will take place in Germany. Because of this in northeastern German port of Rostock was crowded by tens of thousands of protestors. Leaders of the wealthiest countries will gather next Wednesday in Heiligendamn. Organizers hope to see 100 000 people that belongs to anti-poverty and anti-globalization groups.
As police say there were just 30 000 of demonstrators. But even in this situation police used tear gas and batons against the crowd.
There were a few of slogans between the protestors: "G8 = terrorism, war, climate killer" and "No dialogue with capitalism."
